Our goal is

To use art/crafts/scrapbooking as a tool to serve as a positive outlet for military children who often experience a variety of emotions during a parent(s) deployment. Arts/crafts and scrapbooking aligned with educational standards are constructive activities that have been associated with increased self-esteem in children.
To provide a selection of arts/crafts/scrapbooking projects on this free website:
This website is designed to provide the military child and families arts/crafts/scrapbooking projects that provide comforting, and positive activities that express their feelings as well as communicates love and life at home to their deployed family member.
To engage and encourage arts/crafts/scrapbooking retailers across the United States to hold events and welcome the military child (family) in their retail store every Saturday during April choosing from any of the event suggestions and projects found on this website (February 23,2007).
Events include Easter-related activities such as Messages in an Egg, “I am a Good Egg” and an Olde Fashion Easter Egg Hunt for 7-April, 2007
The remaining Saturdays: 14-April, 21-April, and 28-April focus on general arts/crafts/scrapbooking activities.
