Love Notes Card

Make your own personalized note pad for all of your love notes.
Materials:
- Graphic design program
- One Sheet of Photo Paper
- CoverWorksTM 3" Square Note Pad
Instructions:
- Open a blank 8 1/2" x 11" design area in your graphic design program.
- Drag a vertical guideline to the design page, place at the 4 1/4" mark (divides the design page in half). Note: This is a non-printing line.
- Draw a 6 3/4" x 3 1/8" rectangle (set the outline and fill colors to black) and center on the vertical guideline.
- Draw a 3/8" x 3" rectangle (set the outline and fill colors to white) and center on the vertical guideline, on top of the black rectangle.
- Type the text to appear on the white spine. Rotate the text 90 degrees counter clockwise. Center the rotated text on the vertical guideline, on top of the white rectangle. Note: If your text is extending above and/or below the white rectangle reduce the font size until the words fit inside the rectangle.
- Insert a heart shape and size to fit inside the black square that is just to the right of the white rectangle (spine).
- Change the color of the heart outline and fill to white. While the heart is still selected, duplicate it (or copy and paste).
- Select the heart on top and, if necessary, change the color of the heart outline to black and the fill to red. Move the upper heart a tad bit to the left to expose the white heart below.
- Type "Love Notes" and change the color of the outline and fill to white.
- Move the text on top of the red heart.
- Save the file.
- Print on a sheet of photo paper.
- Cut out the cover.
- Insert into your 3" CoverWorks TM cover.
- Remove the bottom sheet of a 3" square note pad and press into place on the inside of the cover.
- Enjoy!
