Red, White and Blue Composition Book

Materials:
- One standard composition book
- Two sheets of Doodlebug Yankee Doodles printed paper
- One 4 x 9 7/10” piece of Doodlebug Sew American Stripe printed paper
- One 12” piece of Pebbles Inc. blue ribbon
- One 6” piece of Pebbles Inc. red ribbon
- One Karen Foster “Freedom License Plate”
- Glue stick
- Xyron sticker maker or tape runner (to adhere ribbon)
- Glue dots
- Craft knife or small scissors
Instructions:
- Adhere one piece of Yankee Doodles printed-paper to the front of the composition book with a glue stick. Put the glue on the composition book, not the paper. Trim around the edge of the book with the craft knife or scissors. Repeat with another sheet of paper on the back of the book.
- Adhere the Sew American Stripe to the spine of the book, centering it over the mid point.
- Adhere the blue ribbon to the front of the book where the two papers meet. Tuck the ends over the top and bottom and adhere to the inside cover.
- Tie a knot in the red ribbon, trim off the excess. Use a glue dot to adhere it to the front of the book, on the blue ribbon.
- Adhere License Plate to the lower right hand corner.
