Stars and Stripes Memo Pad

From the pages of PC Create It

Open a blank 8 1/2" x 11" design area in your graphic design program.
Draw a rectangle 2 1/4" x 3 1/4".
Insert a heart flag graphic in the middle of the rectangle.
Add the text "MEMO" vertically on the left side of the heart and "PAD" on the right side of the heart.
Print the rectangle on the white card stock and cut out with decorative scissors.
Mount the rectangle on a 2 1/2" x 4" piece of the red star background paper.
Mount the above two layers to a 2 5/8" x 4 1/2" piece of white cardstock. Set aside.
Cut a 5 1/8" x 6 1/4" piece of glossy blue cardstock.
Cut a 4 1/2" x 5 7/8" piece of red star background paper and adhere it to the glossy blue cardstock, centering it.
Take the layered "memo pad" from step 7 and adhere it to the top of the glossy blue/red background layers.
Below the "memo pad", adhere the blue sticky pad.
At the top of the memo pad, punch two holes 1 3/4" from the edges and insert the organdy ribbon. Tie knots at the end of each of the ribbons.
